Wines of the highest Danish quality

Buy a unique Danish speciality wine!

We are proud to present our speciality wines of high quality

“In a country without high mountains” – where, you would think, we ought to grow potatoes – we have succeeded, against all odds, to create these wonderful wines which can be bought in specialist shops and from the Lindely property near Kolding.

After just a few minutes, the atmosphere is always right at the top. Is this due to the wine or the good company – well, we will leave that question open! The Wine Shop is open as per arrangement, phone no. +45 2370 2379 or +45 4014 3400.

The Bubble (Boblen)

– is a select Danish sparkling wine, made from grapes and using the traditional French méthode champenoise. Fresh, elegant and bubbly, with lots of fruit and a quite long aftertaste of the capricious Danish summer. Now with SEAWEED and HAWTHORNE. How is that?

Perfect as a surprising and tasty aperitif when with family, or among good friends.

The Light (Lyset)

– is a fresh white wine with a nose of lots of fruit and a fine balance between acid and sweetness. A pleasant and lasting aftertaste with notes of juicy and slightly sour Danish apples from the wonderful Danish summer.

A perfect accompaniment for fish and light dishes. Try it with cheeses like Pont l’Evêque and salted almonds.
The wine has matured in a tank and in bottles. It is best served at 10 degrees.

The Sun (Solen)

– is a full-bodied white wine with a nose of lots of fruit and citrus and an excellent aromatic balance. Wonderfully long and sublime aftertaste with a pleasant “bite”. The perfect accompaniment for fish and light dishes.

The wine has matured for four months in oak casks, which have given new facets to the Solaris grape, and so will give new experiences to you and your friends!

Should be decanted before being served at 10 degrees.

The Rosé (Rosén)

The elderflower fragrance of the Rosé gets right to your nose, and the enjoyment continues in the taste with a fresh and pleasant aftertaste of the lovely Danish summer.

Try it on the terrace with your guests, or enjoy it with grilled salmon and other light dishes.

According to my wife, the Rosé may indeed be enjoyed all year round and should be served at 10 degrees.

The Triangle (Trekanten)

– is an exciting red wine made primarily on the Rondo grape, but it also contains nine other blue grapes. Fruity wine with a soft and pleasant aftertaste.

Try it with an old-fashioned Danish hamburger with soft fried onions and a good gravy – and pickled beetroot.

The wine is ready for drinking now, but it can advantageously be kept for another 2-4 years under the right conditions. It has not been filtered and should be decanted.
To be served at 16 degrees.

The Tip (Spidsen)

– is an elegant wine with notes of vanilla and licorice and a soft and pleasant aftertaste. The wine is ready for drinking now, but it can advantageously be kept for another 2-4 years under the right conditions. The wine has matured for 12 months in oak casks.

Try it with beetroot carpaccio or duck’s breast with beetroot, blackberries and pistachio nuts.

This is an unfiltered wine which should be decanted before it is served at 16 degrees.

The Heart (Hjertet)

– is a forceful and elegaqnt wine with notes of dark berries, vanilla, liquorice and pepper. The wine is ready for drinking now, but can advantageously be kept for another couple of years under the correct conditions. The wine has matured in oak casks.

Try it with a really nice piece of meat with tasty local produce as side dishes. Pinot Noir in Danish. 15%!

Unfiltered wine which should be decanted before being served at 16 degrees.

The Gentleman (Herren)

Following the harvest, the grapes were frozen for just one night and then pressed very gently for a day. The process was only stopped when the wine had reached the required sweetness which is significant for this lovely and unique Ice Wine.

To be enjoyed cool with cheese, riz a l’amande, and sweet desserts, or just because you would suddenly like a nice glass of wine.

Best when served at 12 degrees.

The Lady (Damen)

Following the harvest, the grapes were frozen for just one night and then pressed very gently for a day. The process was only stopped when the wine had reached the required sweetness which is significant for this lovely and unique Ice Wine.

Notes of apricot and peach to nose and mouth. To be enjoyed at 10 degrees with sweet desserts and blue cheese – or when you just feel like enjoying a little sweet something when among good friends.

'Burning hot' (Brænderen)

Grappa in Danish when it is as good as it gets!

The wine is made on pomace which has fermented for two months at 13 degrees and matured in oak casks for 12 months. Afterwards distilled and diluted down to 40 degrees of pleasant alcohol.

Recognized cum laude as a quite pleasant and user-friendly enjoyment with a cup of good coffee, or with the Danish buffet lunch. To be served at 13 degrees.
